Shipping Policy

A legal disclaimer

1. Order Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days once payment is received and verified.

  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM (local time) will be processed the following business day.

  • Weekends and statutory holidays do not count as processing days.

  • Processing delays may occur during high-volume periods or due to inventory fluctuations.

TRS will notify customers of unusual delays whenever possible.

2. Shipping Methods

We currently ship across Canada using reputable carriers such as:

  • Canada Post

  • UPS

  • Purolator

Customers may choose from:

  • Standard Shipping

  • Expedited Shipping

  • Express Shipping

Shipping times depend on the carrier and destination. Estimated delivery windows will be displayed at checkout.

3. Tracking Information

Once an order is fulfilled, a tracking number will be emailed to the customer.

  • Tracking may take 24-72 hours to update.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure accurate email and shipping details are provided.

4. Shipping Restrictions

Due to regulatory constraints:

  • TRS ships research materials only.

  • We do not ship to PO Boxes in certain remote regions.

  • We do not ship internationally.

If an order is placed outside our permitted shipping zones, it will be canceled and refunded.

5. Customer Responsibility

Buyers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipping information

  • Ensuring someone is available to receive the package (if applicable) 

  • Checking regional regulations for the lawful possession of research materials

If a package is returned due to incorrect address or delivery refusal, the customer is responsible for any reshipment fees.

6. Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Packages

Once a package is transferred to the carrier, TRS is not liable for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Lost packages

  • Stolen packages after delivery

  • Weather-related issues

However, we will always strive to support our customers.

If your package arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Include photos of the packaging, product, and shipping label

We will review the claim and determine eligibility for replacement or partial credit.

7. Temperature-Sensitive Items

Some research materials are sensitive to prolonged heat or cold.

  • TRS packages items with necessary stabilization materials when appropriate.

  • Once in transit, environmental conditions are outside our control.

Customers should track their shipments and retrieve packages promptly.

8. Order Changes or Cancellations

  • Orders already placed cannot be changed or canceled

9. Delivery Confirmation

A delivery confirmation from the carrier is considered proof of delivery. TRS is not responsible for shipments marked as delivered but claimed as not received.
